It typically indicates a problem with the circuitry if integrated LED light bulbs last less than 5,000 hours. Integrated LED light bulbs will last for up to 3 years if you run them 24 hours a day. However, most homeowners would never run LED bulbs 24/7 so you are likely to get 10 years out of them. Unfortunately, if a bulb dies in an integrated LED light fixture it can’t be easily replaced.
Quick LED Panel Problem Detection
When you go shopping for LED bulbs you will not be sacrificing brightness because presently, they are the more energy-efficient light bulb. The larger the lumen number the more illumination you will receive and the more energy-efficient it becomes. As consumers, we understand that wattage means how bright our traditional bulb will burn. Since LEDs are purposefully designed to use less energy, they will naturally feature a lower wattage rating. To differentiate LED bulb illumination, lumens is the new brightness factor.
How Long Do LED Lights Really Last?
To prolong their lifespan, turn LED lights off when they’re not in use. As I said above, select manufacturers offer labor coverage as a default clause in their warranties.
These systems are much touchier than others; they require a ballast that meters out the power to the lamp so that it does not buzz or pulse. This system is much more efficient, using many less times the power needed even for halogen bulbs.
But lumens are not a new measuring stick as the US Federal Trade Commission used these manufacturing terms already 9 years ago. The reality is that the lifespan of an LED light will typically fall within a range of about 4 to 6 years. This is also something we offer at Regency, given certain conditions. Replacing the bulbs that are too bright with a variant with the same lamp socket but less power will solve the problem permanently. If the luminaire contains several light bulbs, it is advisable to replace only one bulb first.
